Greetings

I got my start in Criminal Justice after years of combat competition, I figured I could use that experience to start a new career.  My first related job was a contract with Allied Universal.  Unfortunately, it proved to be a poor fit for me and I quit within 6 months.  I got a call from a friend I trained with to come work with him at a university campus as security.   I've worked for that same company ever since.  I started hitting a wall in my career and was told by management that if I wanted to move up in the security industry, I needed an education that backed up my experience.  So, at the age of 30, I went back to college for a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.  What started as a means to an end became a statement of purpose.  What I learned in classes became a commitment to change.  The system we have is in desperate need of evolution, the people have been calling for it for decades.  I have goals to push that in the right direction and look forward to working with likeminded people in pursuing those goals.
